One of the most recognizable skate shoes ever made

Old Skool is one of those shoes that never really disappeared from skateparks or the streets. Skaters, BMX riders, musicians and streetwear fans have been wearing them for decades because they simply work and still look good with almost everything.

This was also the first Vans model to feature the famous Sidestripe™. What started as a simple sketch by Paul Van Doren became one of the most recognizable details in skate footwear history.

The suede and canvas upper gives a good balance between durability, board feel and everyday comfort. That is why Old Skool still shows up regularly at skateparks, BMX spots and city streets around the world.

The vulcanized sole keeps the shoe feeling flexible and connected to the board or pedals, while the waffle outsole helps improve grip and control. Less slipping, more confidence during everyday riding and walking.

The padded collar adds comfort during longer sessions and daily wear, especially if you spend a lot of time on your feet.

Old Skool works naturally with baggy pants, cargos, jeans or shorts. One day they are part of a skate session, the next day they are just your everyday shoes.
