Scooter Forks
In this category you’ll find the best stunt scooter forks for both professional and beginner riders. Designed to match your needs, skills, and—most importantly—your setup.
When choosing a scooter fork, check if the model is compatible with your compression system, wheel size, and headset. If the fork doesn’t match the compression system, you won’t be able to assemble your scooter properly.
Your options: HIC fork, IHC fork, SCS forks, ICS fork.
Before you buy, check the fork description to see if it’s compatible with the compression system on your scooter. Also, make sure it fits the right scooter wheel size—especially if you plan to upgrade to bigger wheels later on. You can choose scooter wheels from 100 mm to 125 mm. The fork also needs to support the maximum wheel width of your stunt scooter.
Match your scooter fork with the handlebars.
Remember: a fork with a specific compression system requires a handlebar designed for the same system.

FAQ – Scooter Forks
What does a scooter fork do?
The fork connects the deck, handlebar and front wheel, it lets your scooter steer and keeps the front end stiff and stable during tricks and landings.
Which fork fits my compression system (HIC, IHC, SCS, ICS)?
Each fork is built for a specific compression system,
- HIC → oversized bars (34.9 mm OD , 31.8 mm ID) with a slit and HIC shim
- IHC → standard bars (31.8 mm ID) with a slit, thinner IHC shim
- SCS → slitless bars with an SCS clamp providing compression
- ICS → long bolt inside the steerer, usually with standard bars
Always match fork, bar diameter and clamp type so the scooter assembles correctly.
What wheel sizes and widths do forks support?
Most stunt forks support 100 to 125 mm wheels, the maximum width varies by model. Check both diameter and width on the product page, especially if upgrading to 120 or 125 mm.
Axles 8 mm or 12STD which should I choose?
- 8 mm classic standard, fits most wheels with 608 bearings and about 24 mm width, easy to service and widely available
- 12STD 12 mm axle for extra stiffness and precision, needs 12STD ready forks and wheels with 6001 bearings and often supports wider wheels, some 12STD forks accept 8 mm wheels with reducers if the manufacturer provides adapters
Threaded or threadless which is right for stunt scooters?
Choose threadless forks and headsets for freestyle, threaded forks are budget parts for basic scooters and not used on modern stunt setups.
Are lighter forks always better?
Light forks suit advanced riders chasing a low front end, beginners usually benefit from sturdier constructions that handle learning phase overloads and heavy landings.
Which brands make reliable scooter forks?
Rider proven choices include Ethic, Blunt Envy, Lucky, Native and Triad, all known for durability, precise fit and real world testing.
