The IHC (Integrated Headset Compression) is a scooter compression system designed as a lighter version of HIC. It uses a thinner fork with a shim to fit standard size handlebars.
IHC works with standard size steel scooter bars (28.6 mm) and with aluminum bars thanks to the shim included with the fork. Oversize bars are not compatible with IHC.
Many riders prefer IHC forks because they are lightweight, durable and almost maintenance free. It is a popular system in complete scooters from top brands.
No, IHC works with standard clamps. You do not need an oversize clamp like with the HIC system.
