Playlife Rave Tomo Pro are aggressive inline skates built for technical street skating, grind-heavy sessions and skatepark riding with a very stable feel and high control during tricks
Aggressive inline skates – key features:
- Level: beginner / intermediate
- Riding style: street / skatepark / technical aggressive
- Shell: hardboot
- Frame: Kizer Fluid
- Wheels: 58 mm anti-rocker
- Liner: MYFIT 2nd Skin
Built for technical street skating and grind control
Playlife Rave Tomo Pro immediately feels stable and predictable during grinds. The wide groove and anti-rocker setup help lock into royales, frontsides and technical switch-ups much easier.
If you mainly skate rails, ledges and skateparks, this setup feels much more controlled than typical urban or freestyle skates.
These are not skates designed for fast fitness cruising. The whole construction is focused more on grind control, stable landings and technical aggressive skating.
Hardboot construction improves stability during tricks
The rigid hardboot shell gives you more support during landings and helps keep your foot stable during bigger gaps and sketchy landings.
During grinds the skates transfer balance more directly and feel much more supportive than softboot setups.
This is the kind of setup that forgives more mistakes while learning aggressive skating.
Kizer Fluid is one of the most proven aggressive frames
Kizer Fluid frames have been popular in aggressive skating for years because of their balance between slide speed, control and durability.
The anti-rocker setup makes grind entries easier and leaves more room for locking tricks on rails and ledges.
Smaller 58 mm wheels also help keep a lower center of gravity and a more stable feel during technical tricks.
MYFIT 2nd Skin liner improves foot lockdown
The MYFIT 2nd Skin liner holds the foot very securely and reduces unnecessary movement inside the shell during landings and grinds.
Even during longer sessions the skates still stay comfortable without developing a loose feeling.
If you previously skated cheaper aggressive skates with soft liners, you will immediately notice more precise control here.
Who are Playlife Rave Tomo Pro skates for?
This is a very good choice if:
- you are starting aggressive skating and want stable skates for learning grinds,
- you mostly skate street or skateparks,
- you are looking for a setup focused on technical tricks,
- you prefer a more controlled feel instead of maximum speed,
- you want aggressive skates ready to ride straight out of the box.
How to choose the right aggressive skate size?
Measure your longer foot from heel to the end of the longest toe and compare the result with the size chart in millimeters.
The manufacturer recommends a more snug fit without too much extra space inside the shell. In aggressive skating this gives better control during grinds, tricks and landings.
Playlife Rave Tomo Pro size chart
| Size EU |
US / UK | Mondo (mm) |
|---|---|---|
| 37–38 | US M 5.5–6 / UK 4.5–5 | 236–242 mm |
| 39–40 | US M 7–7.5 / UK 6–6.5 | 248–255 mm |
| 41–42 | US M 8–9 / UK 7–8 | 261–268 mm |
| 43–44 | US M 10–10.5 / UK 9–9.5 | 275–282 mm |
| 45–46 | US M 11–12 / UK 10–11 | 289–296 mm |
Choose your size based on the length of your longer foot in the Mondo system. Aggressive skates that are too loose reduce control during grinds and landings.
Safety matters
When learning grinds and new tricks, it is worth using a proper helmet and quality protective gear. Even experienced skaters regularly use protection during street and skatepark sessions.
